Welcome to Pre-natal Yoga.
A place for you to connect to yourself on your journey to motherhood. A place to learn and trust your body as it makes space for your growing baby.
The class will consist of movements and breathing exercises (yoga asana) that help to give you a sense of being and understanding of the strength and power you have as a women. We will focus on the mental and physical aspects of being pregnant, but also delve into the emotional aspects that often get left behind in all walks of life.
This class will contrast calm breathing and softening asanas with movement and strengthening techniques aimed at your body as a pregnant woman.
These classes will flow on from each other week to week, so there will be a course feel to them, with exercises to continue with at home.
Who can join?
Pregnant women over 12 weeks gestation.
Are there any pre-requisites?
No, come as you are. You will always be invited and encouraged to move at your pace.
How many people will be in the class?
There is a maximum of 8 students in this class.
What is the cost?
Each class will cost $25 drop-in or $100 for 5-classes.
